Snags in Arms

For many dog owners, the weekends provide an ideal time for you and you pooch to combine a leisurely walk and a tasty meal at your local cafe. This being said, it’s not always easy to find a cafe that serves great tasting food whilst openly welcoming you and your (sausage) dog.

Paw Paw Cafe in Woolloongabba, Brisbane is a must visit when dining with your sausage dog.
Why? Because the owner has a sausage dog herself and the coffee and food is mouthwatering.

The Brisbane Dachshunds were exclusively invited to a sausage inspired lunch today, which turned out to be a huge success. Apart from some minor barking incidents, the snags behaved very well.

Puppachino anyone?

The Rogue Rennard

Aussie hubby and I are coffee snobs. On Sunday mornings Aussie hubby often takes me to the latest coffee hot spot in town.

One of the more recent discoveries was The Rogue Rennard in Paddington, Brisbane. This cafĂ© ticks a lot of boxes: they do good coffee (haven’t tried the food yet), have nice and attentive staff, a car park at the back, always seem to be open, are in a great location and – most importantly – they don’t mind our furry friends.

Oh, and it might be worth mentioning that we have spotted a number of local dachshunds there before!
